Fairy Tale Tea Party ~ March 5th, 2009
We have been studying Fairy Tales in 3N. As a fun culminating activity we had a Tea Party. Students came dressed as their character and presented a short oral piece as part of the entertainment.
100th Day of School ~ February 17th
February 17th wasl officially the 100th day of school for students. On this day students participated in several activities that required them to work with the number 100. Check out the photo story below to see what the students did with the number 100.
Valentine's Class Party ~ February 13th
On Friday, February 13th we held a class party to celebrate Valentine's.
Students exchanged Valentine's in the afternoon and also participated in some Valentine Math Activities in the morning.
Grade 3 & 4 Concert ~ February 11, 2009
Students have been working hard to be ready for our Feb. 11th concert.
To be held at the Carman Collegiate at 7:00 pm.
Students should be at the Collegiate for 6:45pm.
In social studies we learned about different holidays celebrated around the world. The students enjoyed learning about Chinese New Years. In one of our art classes we created our own "chinese dragons". Check them out.
