Our Pet Project
In Grade 3 Social Studies students compare their lives to the lives of other children around the world. My warm hearted group of students quickly realized how unfair it is. They quickly wanted to help and came up with their own plan to make a difference. The grade 3's and 4's have decided to donate some of their OWN money to buy fruit trees, livestock, mosquitoe netting or clean drinking water for children in Africa. I am so impressed at their eagerness to help others at Christmas time.
